About Erin

Hi, I’m Erin Lovis, a Registered Social Worker and Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment clinician. I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, experience, understanding, and practical tools for growth. I believe that every person is the expert of their own life, and my role is to support you in uncovering the strength and resilience within yourself.
Approach
Therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your emotions, thoughts, and experiences. I understand that vulnerability can feel intimidating, but I firmly believe that there is profound strength in allowing yourself to feel and process your emotions. Together, we’ll work to develop tools and strategies that help you manage life’s challenges and move toward your goals.
Experience and Training
I have extensive training in evidence-based therapies. Through these approaches, I work with individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and stress-related concerns. My goal is to tailor therapy to meet your unique needs and empower you to live a fulfilling and balanced life.
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, and emotional regulation.
- Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) helping clients build skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) strengthening relationships and fostering connection in couples therapy.
- Play Therapy providing children with a safe, creative space to express themselves and address emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Fall out of Narcissitc Abuse providing support for those experiencing narcissitc abuse by helping them understand the confusing nature of narcissism and the painful wounds that occur for survivors. The goal is to foster individuation and move away from the shame that is often a component of narcissistic abuse.
